Actuarial Students’ Society (ASS) in collaboration with Melbourne Uni Maths and Stats Society (MUMS) present to you 🥁🥁 Skill Development Workshops - LaTeX/Overleaf (for beginners)! ✨

What is LaTeX❓

LaTeX is a unique documentation system that is often used in

  • Academic papers
  • Books
  • Lecture Slides & tutorial sheets
  • Other publications

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of how to use LaTeX to create neat and professional assignments.

Why use LaTeX❓

LaTeX produces documents of high typographical quality. Thus, students undertaking subjects that require typing complicated mathematical symbols (eg: annuity formulas, subscript, superscript) will be able to save time and produce better text documents.
